Today’s Quote

“The tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal.
The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.
It isn’t a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled,
but it is a calamity not to dream.”

~ Benjamin Mays (1894-1984) ~
American minister and educator

  1. Oooo, I love this…as I did the Henri Nouwen quote a few days ago, which I posted on my Facebook wall. Thank you so much for the inspiration–so helpful and joyous. xo

  2. Dear Theresa,

Hey there! I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award, I
have liked what I read and hopefully others will too. http://embracingsubmission.wordpress.com nominated Me: LifewithCatnip.wordpress.com for the Versatile Blogger award and I am nominating you. Here are the rules: http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/vba-rules .
    Thank you The rules are:
Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.
Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it.
Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. ( I would add, pick blogs or bloggers that are excellent!)
Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award — you might include a link to this site.
Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself. Happy Holidays!

    • Congratulations on your well-deserved award nomination, as well as thinking of Soul Gatherings when passing it on. I so appreciate the gesture, but have had to become “awards free” because of my lack of enough time to properly address the requirements. Good luck and please keep up the good work!

  3. ain’t that the truth! And I might add…keep adding new ones as you change and grow in each new season of life:-) p.s. I am an ads free blog, too…and now after I found out you were ‘awards’ free..I thought, that is what I will add to my ads free…+ awards free..those things are nice, but take too much time:-) thank you for inspiration!
