  1. Oh how I love this quote. I have always said and you and I have had discourse in the past about this, that I cant act spiritually. I believe that we may be spiritual beings, but it is only manifested in an emotional or mental way by our actions.
I have a sincere question for you and your followers. How do we articulate how we are having a spiritual life, besides in words?
You make me think and that is the best compliment I can give.

    • I’ve been trying to think of an appropriate answer all afternoon, and have yet to come up with something different from what we’ve discussed before. What I will share is what I’m gleaning from my present read: Richard Rohr’s “Falling Upward:A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life,” along with its Companion Journal. Once again, I return to behaviors. Rohr talks about the importance of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s (Heroine’s) Journey for our Authentic/True Self. Live in a sufficient world, go out beyond their comfort zone and leave home, find the real problem and are wounded, fall through the life situation to discover Real Life (finding their soul), and return to where they started to know the place for the first time. The “Further Journey” is an invitation from their soul to journey and return home to their Spirit or True Self. The sense of something missing, of longing, of homesickness, would be seen in loneliness, sadness, restlessness, depression. Our Spirit is the Homing Device, our Inner Compass keeps us on track to lose our False Self and journey to find our True Self, and to gain the deeper Communion with All, the At One With, Spirituality. I think this is jumbled and rambling, but for now, it’s all I can come up with.

      • I think your last sentence is the best example of how we cant understand it. I can see the effort you put forth to write this reply to my comment. Thanks. I think I just learned more about spiritual acts by reading this!!
