Today’s Quote

love II

Little do men perceive what solitude is,
and how far it extendeth.
For a crowd is not company,
and faces are but a gallery of pictures,
and talk but a tinkling cymbal,
where there is no love.

  1. I love Francis Bacon — It’s nice to see him not listing, or being logically functional. This quote reminds me of the passage form the bible that says, “if you have not love you are a resounding gong or a clanging symbol” –or something to that effect. Thanks for sharing!
