  1. A 16th century mystic poet & philosopher in India too sung the same words and they are so much relevant even today.

Moko kahan dhoondhe re bande; Main to tere paas mein
(Why are you searching me outside, I am with you)
Na teerath mein na moorat mein; Na kanth niwas mein
(Neither at pilgrimage nor in idols not even at the abode of Lord)
Na mandir mein na masjid main; Na Kabe Kailas mein
(Neither in temple, nor in mosque, not even in Mecca or Mt. Kailash)
Na main jap mein na main tap mein; Na main barat upaas mein
(Neither in prayer nor in penance, not even in fasting ritual)
Na main kiriya karam mein rehata; Na hi jog sanyas mein
(Neither in religious activities, nor in renunciation)
Na hi pran mein na hi pind mein; Na bramhand aakaash mein
(Neither in living material nor in body, not even in the sky/universe)
Na main prakrati pravar gufa mein; Sab swason ki saans mein
(I am not living in some caves, I am living in your breath)
Khoji hoye turat mil jaoon; Ek pal ki taalas mein
(if you are the true seeker, you will find God in a second)
Kehat Kabir suno bhai saadho; Main to hoon vishvas mein
(Kabir is saying, everyone listen carefully, God lives in your faith)
