To put the world right in order,
we must first put the nation in order;
to put the nation in order,
we must first put the family in order;
to put the family in order,
we must first cultivate our personal life;
to cultivate our personal life,
we must first set our hearts right.

So true…
I agree.
Thank you Theresa, that is so true…now if I could just pass that on to the politicians to begin that journey 🙂
I hope you find a way to pass it on! 😉
I have no clue who this Conficus man is, but he is certainly right. We have to take care of ourselves first, better ourselves and then we can start building up, making little changes here and there in the people around us, in the people you don´t know, in the government, e.t.c. I´ll have too google this guy now.
Confucius was a person of much wisdom; I’m glad you liked his words here.
beautiful quotation – required to be followed now a days
with regards
Thank you; you are so right…
Reblogged this on Teacher as Transformer and commented:
The other day I blogged a poem from Lao Tzu which carried the same message. Confucius and Lao Tzu did not appear to live at the same time, but Lao Tzu contributed to Confucius’ thinking. We begin the process of order internationally and it slowly ripples outwards as it takes hold first with us.
Thank you for the re-blog and visiting Soul Gatherings.
You are welcome Theresa.
Theresa,
Wow on this 0ne! Can i append it to my post for tomorrow (first post of the New Better Endings?) Linda
Certainly! I’m glad you liked it.
It sets the heartafire!
The heart is the source of everything. Without heart there is nothing. Confucius was a very wise man. It is a pity that such wisdom is seldom found these days.
Bright Blessings

PS thank you for visiting my blog and liking my poem.
We find and pass along that wisdom one person, one interaction, at a time, just like right now. P.S. You’re so welcome!
