For Belonging

May there be kindness in your gaze when you look within.
May you never place walls between the light and yourself.
May you allow the wild beauty of the invisible world to gather you,
mind you, and embrace you in belonging.

I am reading John’s book at the moment (Eternal Echoes) from which this wonderful piece is taken. To discover more about Longing and Belonging folks I’d suggest that you read it. Read too his book Anam Cara, which translates as Soul Friend. 🙂
Thank you. Anam Cara was the first book I read of his, and I’ve been a fan ever since.
This is such a beautiful prayer. I have a friend who is a big fan of Anam Cara. Guess I need to get myself a copy!
